Privacy notice

This notice covers the PRKS website (getprks.app) and its waitlist. The PRKS iPhone app is in development and not publicly available; it will explain its own use of location before it asks for it.

What the waitlist stores

When you join the waitlist, we store:

We don’t ask for your name or your location. If your email is already on the list, nothing is changed and the site shows the same confirmation either way.

Why

To send you PRKS development and launch emails, which you agreed to when you joined, and beta invitations if you opted in. The home park helps us decide which parks to support.

Protecting the form from abuse

Each signup attempt is checked with Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that Cloudflare runs in your browser. Cloudflare processes data such as your IP address and browser signals for this; see Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy addendum.

To limit how many attempts can come from one connection, the signup service keeps a counter per IP address. It never stores the address itself, only a keyed hash of it (for IPv6, of the network prefix), which can’t be turned back into the address without our secret key. A counter is deleted once it has been unused for a day.

Who processes the data

The site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and loads its fonts from its own server.

How long we keep it

Your waitlist entry stays until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Rate-limit counters are deleted after a day without use.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from PRKS emails at any time. To unsubscribe, see what we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted, email privacy@getprks.app.
